Luisa – On Union Between Church and State

Our Lord Jesus to Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta on January 24, 1926 (Vol. 18):

My daughter, the more it seems that the world is apparently in peace, and they sing the praises of peace, the more they hide wars, revolutions and tragic scenes for poor humanity, under that ephemeral and masked peace. And the more it seems that they favor My Church, and sing hymns of victories and triumphs, and practices of union between State and Church, the closer the brawl is which they are preparing against Her. The same was for Me. Up until they acclaimed Me as King and received Me in triumph, I was able to live in the midst of the peoples; but after My triumphant entrance into Jerusalem, they no longer let Me live; and after a few days they shouted at Me: ‘Crucify Him!’; and all taking arms against Me, they made Me die. When things do not start from a foundation of truth, they have no strength to reign for a long time, because, since truth is missing, love is missing, and the life that sustains it is missing. Therefore, what they were hiding easily comes out, and they turn peace into war, and favors into revenges. Oh! how many unexpected things they are preparing.

Commentary

When people are saying, “Peace and security,”
then sudden disaster comes upon them,
like labor pains upon a pregnant woman,
and they will not escape.
(1 Thessalonians 5:3)

There is so much in this message that is reflected in our times, which are the labor pains before the “birth” of the Kingdom of the Divine Will “on earth as it is in heaven.” Notably are the “wars” and rumors of wars that are breaking out across the world, with a handful of leaders seemingly determined to drive the planet into a Third World War. This, alongside the very same leaders pushing for the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” or “Great Reset“, as they call it. And this has resulted in “tragic scenes for poor humanity” already, notably the global lockdowns that destroyed countless businesses, dreams, and plans and, most especially, the injections that continue to maim and kill countless people (see The Tolls).

Most tragic of all is that much of this has been aided and abetted through “practices of union between State and Church.” [1]What is the proper relationship between Church and State? Watch Church and State? with Mark Mallett While I sympathize with those who struggled with the difficulties of the unknown at the beginning of the COVID epidemic, it became clear early on that it was fear, not science, driving the strangest restrictions and oppression of freedom witnessed in modern times. Vast swaths of the Church, beginning at the top, not only surrendered her autonomy but unwittingly participated in promoting what I do not hesitate to call three years later a “genocide” through the oft-forced injections that were even distributed on church properties (while the Blessed Sacrament was off limits). In an Open Letter to the Catholic Bishops and the documentary warning Following the Science?both which have been shown to be true and accurate — attempts were made through this apostolate to warn our clergy of the dangerous medical technocracy the Church has been aiding, directly and indirectly. As we heard recently in the Mass readings:

Do not be yoked with those who are different, with unbelievers. For what partnership do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? What accord has Christ with Beliar? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? (2 Cor 6:14-16)

Our Lord warns, however, that the praises heaped upon the Church for her obedience to the State are but a thin veneer. The United Nations objectives of “sustainable development” and those of the World Economic Forum are devoid of a vision that includes Christ as King of all nations. On the contrary, their agendas — which include the “right” to abortion, contraception, gay “marriage and transgenderism — are at direct odds with Catholicism and the Christian vision of the human person and his inherent dignity. They are, simply put, Communism with a “green” hat. As such, we too, will soon hear the cries “Crucify Him!” — that is, crucify Jesus in His Mystical Body, the Church — as we follow Our Lord in our own Passion, Death, and Resurrection.

Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers… The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection. —Catechism of the Catholic Church, 675, 677

When we have cast ourselves upon the world and depend for protection upon it, and have given up our independence and our strength, then [Antichrist] will burst upon us in fury as far as God allows him. Then suddenly the Roman Empire may break up, and Antichrist appear as a persecutor, and the barbarous nations around break in. —St. John Henry Newman, Sermon IV: The Persecution of Antichrist; cf. Newman’s Prophecy

However, Jesus appears to indicate that this trial will be short “since truth is missing, love is missing, and the life that sustains it is missing.” How true this is, particularly regarding the present sexual revolution that, in the name of love, is completely devoid of truth.[2]cf. Love and Truth and Who Are You to Judge? Nay, it has turned truth upside down, and as such, this movement is a harbinger of death on every societal level.

This marvelous world — so loved by the Father that he sent his only Son for its salvation — is the theater of a never-ending battle being waged for our dignity and identity as free, spiritual beings. This struggle parallels the apocalyptic combat described in the First Reading of this Mass [Rev 11:19-12:1-6]. Death battles against Life: a “culture of death” seeks to impose itself on our desire to live, and live to the full. There are those who reject the light of life, preferring “the fruitless works of darkness.” Their harvest is injustice, discrimination, exploitation, deceit, violence. In every age, a measure of their apparent success is the death of the innocents. In our own century, as at no other time in history, the “culture of death” has assumed a social and institutional form of legality to justify the most horrible crimes against humanity: genocide, “final solutions,” “ethnic cleansings,” and the massive “taking of lives of human beings even before they are born, or before they reach the natural point of death”…. Today that struggle has become increasingly direct. —POPE JOHN PAUL II, Text of Pope John Paul II’s remarks at Sunday Mass at Cherry Creek State Park, Denver Colorado, World Youth Day, 1993, August 15, 1993, Solemnity of the Assumption; ewtn.com

How can we say that we have not been warned, not only by prophets like Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta and the numerous souls on this website, but by the pontiffs themselves?

This fight in which we find ourselves… [against] powers that destroy the world, are spoken of in Chapter 12 of Revelation… It is said that the dragon directs a great stream of water against the fleeing woman, to sweep her away… I think that it is easy to interpret what the river stands for: it is these currents that dominate everyone, and want to eliminate the faith of the Church, which seems to have nowhere to stand before the power of these currents that impose themselves as the only way of thinking, the only way of life. —POPE BENEDICT XVI, first session of the special synod on the Middle East, October 10th, 2010

However, we must never forget that this Final Revolution, like all the evil revolutions that have preceded it, will end in triumph — this time, the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the Resurrection of the Church
