In a recent webcast, Daniel O’Connor and Mark Mallett spoke of the Vatican’s recent “approval” of both devotion to Medjugorje and to a lesser degree, the messages. But a small group of American apologists and podcasters, notorious for their opposition to Medjugorje, have taken issue with the term “approved.” But why? Why are we so hesitant to celebrate this incredible phenomenon that has been officially cleared for devotion by the Vatican?
